Three Arrested After Police Pursuit In Lynchburg

Three people are under arrest after a police pursuit in Lynchburg early Thursday morning. It started at around 1am when police tried to pulled over a vehicle at 29 North and Carroll Avenue. The driver took off and the pursuit ended when the vehicle ended up on Hendricks Avenue which is a dead end. All three occupants were captured. 25 year old Taylor Foster, of Monroe, was charged with an outstanding warrant on failure to appear, obstructing justice; resisting arrest; fleeing from law enforcement, and possession of methamphetamine. The driver, 49 year old Wesley Booker of Lynchburg faces counts of running a red light, running a stop sign, and driving on a revoked license. And another passenger, 25-year-old Ernest Shifflett, of Arrington, was charged with weapons counts.
