Two Lynchburg Residents Among 14 Arrested In Drug Sweep

14 people have been indicted on more than 38 drug and firearm charges in Amherst County. Authorities say indictments were handed up last week and since, the Central Virginia Drug and Gang Task Force has been taking down suspects and dismantling the network. The sting has been focused on street level dealers and those who supply them with drugs. Among those arrested, James Bryant, 37, of Lynchburg – two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, and Amanda Burton, 28, of Lynchburg –four counts of distribution of methamphetamine.
